About Us
The PAC Is Back!
Why is the PAC back?
-
In 2020 then-Governor Doug Ducey, famously declined to answer the
phone when Donald Trump called to urge him not to certify Arizona’s
Presidential Election that resulted in Joe Biden prevailing.
-
Katie Hobbs was the Secretary of State who forwarded the election results to Ducey for certification.
-
Andy Biggs was a US Congressman who actively opposed and voted
against the certification of Arizona’s 2020 election results, demonstrating his loyalty to Donald Trump.
-
Whoever wins this year’s gubernatorial election will certify (or not) the
results of the 2028 Presidential election. Who do you think will have the
integrity to reject a call from Donald Trump should the 2028 Arizona
election result in a non-Republican candidate prevailing? Biggs or Hobbs?
-
That is the short reason why we are back. But click here for a host of other ones.
What's new?
-
State Elections. We used to be organized only on a federal level. We have created a new entity so that we can advocate in Arizona elections. The only election we will make independent expenditures on is the Governor’s race. The federal version is on hold until 2028.
-
PAC name. We modified the name. We dropped the word “Republicans”from our name. The PAC is now “Arizonans Who Believe in Treating Others With Respect.” We respect whichever party (or no party) a person chooses and are not limited by party affiliation.
What makes you think all of this will make any difference?
-
A lot of us working together! In 2024, counting by emails, there were 1,087 of us that got involved in some fashion. There were 520 separate donations that we received, ranging from $10 (we appreciate you!) to... well… a lot more.
-
Effort matters! We did not prevail in 2024. We did prevail in 2020. Any honest effort against forces that seek to weaken democracy, and are in favor of those forces that seek to strengthen democracy, makes adifference. That is how we see this governor’s race. This effort is part of a long-haul approach to strengthen democracy and the rights we cherish. It is always worth the effort!
History of the PAC

In 2020, we placed thousands of signs throughout Arizona, particularly in Maricopa County, and thousands of Arizonans saw our electronic billboards. According to articles in The New York Times, Politico, The Arizona Republic and others, our efforts made a difference in our great state and the nation as a whole. Biden won! Our coalition of Republican, Independent, and Moderate voters helped put Biden over the top. In 2024, although our efforts were mighty and they did have a significant impact, we were not successful in getting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz elected.
Why We Started

The PAC started in July 2020 with this statement from the Co-Founders:
We love our country and are deeply concerned with the direction it is taking. We understand the importance of determining which party will be in power. But, we are most concerned about which person will be in power.
What is the moral character of that person? Is he truthful? How does he treat people? Does he acknowledge differences and treat others with respect? Is there an effort to be inclusive? Do we want our children and grandchildren to be like that person?
Answering these questions, despite being lifelong Republicans—with no love for certain portions of the Democratic party platform—we will be voting for Joe Biden in November.
